A MESSAGE FROM GISELLE:
As a holistic psychotherapist, I strive to meet my clients where they’re at and always consider the mind, body, spirit, and environment. Each client is unique, so I use compassion and multicultural awareness to tailor the way I serve each client. I use a feminist, humanistic, and integrative approach and enjoy working with adults of all ages and backgrounds, but especially young women. The collaborative process of healing and growth allows my clients to reach the goals we set together and to navigate challenges of many sizes they face in their lives. I like drawing from frameworks such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), as well as using EMDR (Eye-Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing) Therapy working individually with young adults and members of the LGBTQ+ community on issues like trauma, assertiveness, codependency, and anxiety and stress management. I help clients access the answers they seek from within and guide themselves down their own path of healing and growth. I'm also passionate about meditation and social justice and volunteer as a research assistant studying culture and trauma. If you think we'd be a good fit, I warmly invite you to reach out to me (e-mail is best).
