Q: What is EMDR Therapy?

A: EMDR Therapy stands for Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. It's a psycho-somatic therapy primarily used to reprocess trauma so that there is a significant decrease in physiological distress to certain triggers. It can be helpful for negative core beliefs as well, not just for PTSD-level trauma. It can be done in-person or virtually.
Q: Do you offer sliding scale?

A: No, my sliding scale slots are full.
Q: Can I still work with you if I live outside the Atlanta area?

A: Yes, I can provide telemental health counseling to residents of Georgia.

Q: What is holistic psychotherapy?

A: Holistic psychotherapy is mental health counseling informed by considering the client as a whole person: mind, body, spirit, and environment.
Q: Do you work with children and/or adolescents?

A: No, I only work with adults (ages 18+).
Q: Do you take insurance?
​
A: No, I don't accept insurance; however, I can offer superbills you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement.
Q: Does your office have parking?

A: Yes, there is plenty of free parking in the parking lot on the left-hand side of the building if you're facing it from the street.

A: I offer free 15-minute phone consultations, so give me a call, and we can figure it out together. I am here for you when you are ready.
